Raindrops on the Roof Trigger a Flashback

I awoke in the early morning to the sound of raindrops falling on the metal roof of my bedroom. The pitter patter sound of the raindrops was a trigger to a time many years ago when I was a child in my parents apartment in Brooklyn. It was the big day of the big move to Long Island. As a 3 year old, I didn't know where we were moving. I only knew I was going to be all right. My parents swooped me up in a blanket and we were gone from that place, never to return again. Yet, in all the excitement of that transition; I knew everything was going to be all right. And, so it is today, wherein my family and I are preparing for another big move in this latest transition in my life, moving after 43 years in the same home: everything is going to be all right. Romans 8: 28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His Purpose. Isn't that just like my Dad!
