The Importance of Little Things

My wife and I had a 72 year old friend who died last week. She was a very good person who loved the Lord. After she passed, I reflected on several of the small, seemingly unimportant moments we shared with her in the 18 months or so we knew her. As a Christian lady, she loved the Torah and the truths in the Old Testament God gave the Jewish people. I reflected on the Shabbat dinners we shared with her, moments of prayer, discussions about the Lord, and video tapes she shared with us from her years of research. The thought the Lord gave me was this: these seemingly unimportant events at the time had much more deeper meaning to me now and will continue to deepen in my consciousness in the future. Kathy is in heaven now; one of the great cloud of witnesses who are praying for us until we join them.
